台風１９号、石垣島が強風域に　気象台、強風と高波に警戒

 

沖縄気象台によると、大型で猛烈な台風１９号は9月２０日午前９時現在、石垣島の南南東約５８０キロにあり、１時間に約２０キロの速さで北西へ進んでいる。

 

午前９時に石垣島が風速１５メートル以上の強風域に入った。

 

宮古島地方は昼すぎ、与那国島地方は夕方に強風域に入る可能性があり、気象台は強風と高波に対する警戒を呼び掛けている。

 

宮古島地方は２１日夜に、石垣島地方と与那国島地方は２２日朝から昼前に強風域を抜ける見込み。

 

先島諸島が風速２５メートル以上の暴風域に入る可能性は低いという。

 

台風１９号の中心気圧は９１０ヘクトパスカル、中心付近の最大風速５５メートル、最大瞬間風速は８０メートル。

 

中心から半径１７０キロ以内は暴風域、半径５６０キロ以内は強風域となっている。

According to the Okinawa Meteorological Observatory, 9:00 A.M. on 20 September, Typhoon No. 19, furious at large, is located about 580 km south-southeast of Ishigaki Island, going to the northwest at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour.

 

Ishigaki Island has entered the strong wind region of more than 15 meters wind speed at 9 A.M.

 

Early afternoon, there is a possibility to enter the strong wind region, in the evening Yonaguni Island region, in the afternoon Miyako region, Okinawa Meteorological Observatory has called for against high waves and strong winds.

 

21th night, Miyako region is expected to exit the strong wind region,  before noon 22th morning Yonaguni Island and Ishigaki Island exit the strong wind region.

 

Sakishima Islands enters the storm area of more than 25 meters wind speed is low.

 

Central pressure of Typhoon No. 19 is 910 hPa, maximum wind speed is 80 meters per second, maximum instantaneous wind speed 55 meters per second near the center.

 

170 km radius has become a strong wind area, 560 km within storm area, from the center of Typhoon No. 19.
