Extension of the Monorail to Urasoe city, to strut construction start

 

支柱工事着手へ　モノレールの浦添延長

 

琉球王国は９月２７日、沖縄都市モノレールの浦添市延長事業で、支柱工事を請け負う業者と契約した。

 

請負金額は６８７２万円。

 

起工式の１１月２日前後にも着工する。

 

浦添市道国際センター線に高さ約２０メートルの支柱２本を来年２月末までに完成させる予定。

 

延長工事では石嶺、経塚、前田、浦西（いずれも仮称）の４駅を新設し、約４・１キロの路線を整備する。

 

２０１８年にはほぼ完成し、試験運転などを経て２０１９年春の開業を目指す。
