大型台風１８号、９月１６日に上陸か　接近で激しい雨

 

大型の台風１８号は９月１５日、勢力を保ったまま日本の南海上を北上した。

 

１６日に東日本の太平洋側に上陸する恐れがある。

 

暖かく湿った空気が流れ込み、神奈川県海老名市で１時間に７１・５ミリの非常に激しい雨を観測するなど、関東、東海を中心に大雨となった。

 

東海道新幹線は新横浜―小田原間に設置した雨量計が規制値に達したため、１５日午前、同区間の上下線で一時運転を見合わせた。

 

気象庁によると、台風は進路を東寄りに変え、暴風域を伴いながら四国の南から紀伊半島沖を進むとみられる。

 

１６日にかけて西日本から東北の広い範囲で非常に激しい雨が予想される。
