金融庁、みずほ銀行に業務改善命令　反社会的勢力と取引

金融庁は９月２７日、暴力団を含む反社会的勢力との取引の存在を知りながら放置したとして、みずほ銀行に業務改善命令を出した。

 

信販会社を通じた自動車ローンなどで計２３０件、総額２億円超に上る取引があったにもかかわらず、２年以上も適切に対応せず放置したと指摘。

 

１０月２８日までに業務改善計画を提出するよう求めた。

 

銀行と反社会的勢力をめぐっては、みずほの前身である第一勧業銀行が総会屋に利益を供与していた事件が１９９７年に起き、社会的な問題となった経緯がある。

 

金融庁は今回の取引は「事後処理が適切でなかった」と説明した。
