金融庁は１０月９日、暴力団など反社会的勢力への融資を放置した問題で、金融庁の検査に説明した内容が事実と異なっていたとして、みずほ銀行と持ち株会社みずほフィナンシャルグループに対し、銀行法に基づき２８日までに報告するよう命じた。

 

金融庁はすでに、みずほ銀に業務改善命令を出し、２８日までに経営責任の所在を明確化するなど業務改善計画を提出するよう求めている。

 

行政処分の直後に再び報告を求めるのは異例。

 

みずほ銀は当初、問題を認識していたのは法令順守の担当役員までとしていたが、佐藤康博頭取が８日に記者会見し、取締役会などにも資料が提出されていたと説明を一変させていた。
