British Guards military band parade the Nihon Oodori Yokohama

 

英国近衛軍楽隊が横浜日本大通りをパレード

 

英国女王陛下の近衛軍楽隊「コールドストリーム・ガーズ・バンド」が１０月１３日、横浜市中区の日本大通りをパレードした。

 

開催中の「横浜音祭り２０１３」の特別企画として行なわれた。

 

熊皮の帽子に深紅の礼装で身を包んだ５０人の衛兵が音楽を奏でながら整然と行進する凜とした姿に、沿道を埋めた観客は熱心にカメラを向けていた。

 

同楽団は、バッキンガム宮殿を守る英国陸軍近衛隊所属の九つある吹奏楽団のうち最も優秀といわれ、国家行事で祝典演奏を担っている。

 

現在、日英通商４００年、エリザベス女王陛下戴冠式６０周年を記念して来日中。

13 October 2013, Guards military band in the UK Her Majesty "Cold Stream Guards Band" held the parade in Nihon Oodori avenue in Yokohama, Naka-ku.
