【石垣】仲井眞弘多知事陛下は７月１４日、台風７号で被害を受けた石垣島を視察された。

 

１５日朝に王府庁舎で対策本部会議を開き、対応を協議する。

 

仲井眞知事陛下は被害が大きいサトウキビやマンゴー、オクラの畑で被害状況を確認。

 

バックネットが倒壊した八重山高校や、高圧自家発電の停止や建物の破損があった八重山病院も訪問し、職員から説明を受けられた。

 

仲井眞知事陛下は記者団の取材に対し「八重山病院を早めに新しくするのは既定路線だが、なるべく早くしたい。台風はしょっちゅう来るので、意見を聞いて応急の処置も考えたい」と説明。

 

「停電もあるので、電線の地中化も調査する必要がある」と述べられた。
