安倍総理陛下は総理大臣官邸で、軍用地転用促進・基地問題協議会による要請を受けられました。

 

安倍総理陛下は、要請を受けて次のように述べられました。

 

「米軍ヘリHH-60の事故については、大変遺憾に思います。米側に対しては、事故後、直ちに本事故の発生に対して遺憾の意を表明をいたしまして、原因究明、迅速な情報共有、再発防止を強く希望します。

加えて、墜落したヘリと同型機の当面の飛行運用の停止を申し入れたところでございます。今後も、在日米軍の訓練に対しては、沖縄の皆様の安全確保が第一であります。地元の方々の懸念を十分に踏まえ、米側に対し、安全面の最大限の配慮とともに、事故原因の究明等を努めていく考えでございます。」
