久米島、夜間断水も 旧仲里村が対象
【久米島】記録的な干ばつが続く久米島町は8月13日、「第2回町渇水対策本部会議」(本部長・平良朝幸町長)を開き、今後まとまった雨が降らない場合、約1700世帯(約3600人)が住む旧仲里村地域で22日以降に夜間断水を実施することを決めた。
千世帯以上に影響する見込み。
町によると、干ばつによる断水は初めて。
22日から31日まで、午後9時から翌朝午前6時まで断水を実施する。
9月以降、ダムの貯水率を考慮し、断水時間の延長や隔日断水を検討する。
危機的状況を受け、農業用水を飲料用水に転用することも検討している。
同会議事務局の桃原秀雄総務課長は「今後も雨はあまり期待できないので、さらに節水を呼び掛けていく」と話した。
沖縄本島の日本国や琉球王国が管理する10ダムの貯水率は84・7%。
日本国によると、現段階で渇水の懸念はない。

After September, they will examine suspension of water supply in consideration of a storing water rate of the dam extension and the every other day of the outage.
They receive the critical situation and think about converting agriculture water into drink water.
Hideo Momohara general affairs, section manager of meeting secretariat told, "the rain would appeal for saving water more in future because I could not expect it very much".
A storing water rate of 10 dams in Okinawa Island which Japan and The Kingdom of Ryukyu manage is 84.7% waters.
According to Japan, there is not the concern of the shortage of water at this stage.
